VATRUS FIRs

There is no any secret, that VATRUS is the largest VATSIM division. We are very excited, however it's very hard to provide first quality ATC service for such large division. VATRUS staff always performs actions to populate virtual flying. Here is the list of FIRs which provides regularly ATC service.

 

 

St. Petersburg FIR

In VATSim Network St Petersburg FIR covers ACCs St Petersburg (ULLL), Velikie Luki (ULOL), Petrozavodsk (ULPH) and Vologda (ULWW).

Yekaterinburg FIR

In VATSIM network Yekaterinburg FIR covers the following ACCs: Yekaterinburg (USSS), Severouralsk (USSE), Chelyabinsk (USCC), Kurgan (USUU) and Magnitogorsk (USCM).

Moscow FIR

The Moscow FIR, which area are made with 720 thousand km2, is characterized by complex structure of air space, the big importance located in a zone of the responsibility of the airports, high intensity of airspace both in usual days, and during spent VATRUS Fly-Ins. Moscow FIR serves airspace above territory of the major region of the Russian Federation: the Central and Central Black Earth economic regions, with the cities located in them: Moscow - the capital of Russia ( UUDD - Domodedovo; UUEE - Sheremetyevo; UUWW - Vnukovo), Nizhny Novgorod - UWGG ( Based Airport of VATRUS Training for Pilots).

FIR of Samara has geographically favourable position, successful for fulfilment of virtual flights practically from any point of Russia. Controlled Areas:Samara, Ulianovsk, Saratov, Penza, Orenburg. Kazan FIR controlled only above FL 6100 meters .
